If Barley could talk, she would tell you about how far she’s come since that first day in her foster home. Once shy and withdrawn, she’s now bursting with energy and is a happy, playful girl around the people she’s learned to trust. She especially can’t get enough of kicking up her heels during playtime with her furry foster friends. She also loves spending time looking for birds in the field with her foster mom. She can still close up like a little flower at night around someone she doesn’t know, but when she finally opens up, her bubbly personality shines through.
A perfect forever home for Barley will have a lot of patience and time to give her, especially in the first month while she’s figuring out where she belongs. Barley would love to have another doggy playmate in her new home, especially since dog parks are really not her thing. Barley’s adopter should be ready to put in a little extra work and love to gain a devoted, fun forever friend in return!
