Brownie – Our Foster Dog

Hi Brownie!

Hi Brownie!

Brownie has been rescued! This cute little 2 year-old guy ended up at the shelter with a severe case of ringworm after he was tied outside the animal control office. Thanks to our volunteers and supporters, we were able to save Brownie, but he will have a few months of treatment ahead of him to get well and be ready for his forever home. If you can, please donate below to help fund his medical care.

Brownie is a very sweet, happy guy who is very GSP-like. He is always on the hunt and loves to point! He is good with other dogs, but does have a bit too much interest in cats.

Brownie will undergo treatment for ringworm for 6-8 weeks. This treatment includes a daily oral medication and a combined medicated bath and lime sulphur dip twice a week. Brownie was also boarded at a vet for several days following his rescue so that this treatment could begin in an isolated area to avoid spreading ringworm to other dogs.

Thank you to Brownie’s sponsors!
