Lyla is an exceedingly sweet 55 lb, 6 year old GSP/EP mix. She was found as a stray about 3 years ago, by a Good Samaritan who has tried to find her owners but then attempted to keep her. Unfortunately Lyla has been diagnosed by veterinary assessment to have separation anxiety. Lyla initially had no socialization and was in rough shape in the past few years she’s come a very long way. She is now physically healthy, house trained, good off leash, knows basic commands and is much more secure and well adjusted than when she was first found; however […]
Baylee came to us as a stray so we don’t know much about her past life, but guess she is around 4-5 years old and her foster family describes her as super sweet and that she loves attention! She gets along fine with other dogs, seemed fine around cats at the shelter (needs further testing), and is crate and house trained. She even responds to the come command, too! She has a cherry eye for her right eye, but it doesn’t seem to bother her or slow her down. She is a lovable pup that just needs to find her forever […]
Hello Bunny! It may not be Easter yet, but we’re celebrating early with the cutest bunny ever. This girl is brand new to our foster program. We know so far that she is a total cuddle bug with humans and dogs alike! We’ll keep getting to know this adorable gal. Watch this space for updates!
Welcome Savanna! This beautiful southern belle was surrendered to the shelter by her owner when they moved away. Her life was turned upside down in an instant, but we were there to turn it the right way round again. Savanna is now enjoying the comfort and love of her foster home. And good girl that she is, she’s proved to be both crate-trained and house-trained, and will go into crate with the command “go to bed.” She is also perfecting the commands sit, down, stay, come and leave it. She loves a nice few walks per day. So far, she […]
Layla is too adorable! This sweet 10 year-old has a “hummingbird tail” according to her foster home – it never stops wagging! Besides being cute, Layla does very well on leash with a harness, seems to be house-trained, and is a good copilot. She needs to work on learning basic commands, but is eager to please. Oh and she is happy to hang out at home while you’re at work. She enjoys a little time alone to catch up on her naps! But then she’ll be overjoyed to see you when you come home. A great all-around girl! Medical update – […]
