Franny – Our Foster Dog

Sweetie pie Franny!

Sweetie pie Franny!

Welcome Franny! This 5 year-old GSP mix is sweet as can be. Franny lived most of her life outside before she came to us, but she’s no stranger to the life of luxury. She was quick to take to the couch and will happily cuddle with you in bed if invited up. Franny is a good girl with other dogs and would love to play with some furry friends. She also has good manners, knows how to sit and shake and will go into a crate (a bit reluctantly). She would love to find a home where she can keep up her newfound luxurious habits and get all the love she can stand. She deserves it!

Franny does have heartworm disease. She has a few months of treatment ahead of her to become healthy again. She’s available as a foster to adopt while she undergoes treatment.

We rescued Franny along with her daughter Ellsie. They can be adopted together or separately.

Franny has heartworm disease, which requires several months of treatment. Heartworm disease typically costs $2,000-3,000 per dog (including all the medicines, tests, and treatments) to treat, and that doesn’t include the normal vet care of examinations, vaccinations and spays.  Please consider donating to Franny’s medical fund to ensure she can get the treatment she needs!
