Shelby, Rosie and Fred are the GSP Mighty Three! These three GSPs share a foster home and they all have their part to play. Shelby’s the cute young’un that is keeping the oldies moving – she especially likes to show off to the other dogs how she can get on the back of the reclining chair. Rosie is the sweet senior lady who keeps the spot on the couch perpetually warm. Fred is the older gentleman who has learned how to mesh as one of the team. How can you help the GSP Mighty Three? This terrific trio also means triple […]
The cone is off and Oscar is hitting the trails these days, taking time to cool his paws as summer heats up.
This is Fred (sitting shotgun), Shelby (driver’s seat) and Forever Foster Rosie (backseat) supervising Foster Dad while he fixes the door on the car. As you can see they are highly skilled at the art of watching, sitting and waiting to go somewhere fun.
Dot is playful and athletic, pure GSP through and through! Here she is about to destroy her toy and show it who’s boss!

Fred is adjusting to having new doggie siblings and learning to trust that the noms will keep coming!
It’s exhausting playing with my friends all day! Pan the puppy takes a nap and gets ready for his next game of chase!
Yes, Miss Shelby is living the good life. Although her foster home has four other pointers, she has no problem grabbing the best seat in the house! This is her tuckered out after an afternoon at the dog park!
Little Dot has been settling in nicely, going hiking and to the beach and just enjoying the sunshine as she relaxes in her foster home. Here she is hoping to make some new friends with the local bumblebees!
Chloe just relaxing and demonstrating her perfect kitchen behaviors, patiently waiting for a few tasty treats to possibly fall off the counter. She’s such a lady.
Ace and Oscar are becoming fast buddies while waiting for their forever families. This is Oscar cracking up at a joke that Ace doesn’t think is all that funny.
Most people don’t often think of pointers when they hear the word lapdog, but we all know different. Shelby demonstrates that “if she fits, she sits”.
Recently Oscar gave his foster mom a few “pointers” on car repair as she took on the task of replacing a light on her car. Apparently he knows his way around a tool belt but prefers to play supervisor instead of being hands on. Go figure.
Nigel is enjoying the status of having his “flying wings” after his famous flight with Pilots and Paws. Now he’s just relaxing and enjoying the good life at his foster home.
It’s all fun and games until a critter ends up dead. Busy Lucy was helping out by hunting and guarding the vineyard from critters- and she did an excellent job!
Oscar can’t catch a break. When he got the news that he tested positive for heart worm, he protested! No more bed rest! But even this can’t keep this cutie down, he’s still full of smiles and cuddles!
Zoey went on a two day adventure last week but she’s safe and sound now in her foster home. She was aided in her return by a loving family who found her in the middle of the night. We are so happy she is safe!
Shelby is getting adjusted to her new foster home this week and she’s enjoying this beautiful spring weather in the garden.
She is doing a great job at learning how to “settle”. She’s a busy little GSP so it’s not easy to learn to play nicely with her ball without getting to excited! She’s getting ready for her next phase of Heartworm treatment.
His leg surgery went well…only a few weeks left on bed rest, he’s doing his best!

Not really much room for anyone else, but since his favorite thing is to cuddle with humans, so we’re sure he’d make room for you! His foster mom tells us that he’s not a “morning” dog, very mellow in the mornings and ramps up his energy for afternoon activities.
“Everything I do is fast..but for some reason you are little slow on the dinner prep. I’ll just wait patiently right here, just in case you forget.” Sprig has shown himself to be highly sociable and sure to be your “wingman” if you are looking to expand your friend network.
Who says seniors don’t like to play? Mr. Quinn shows off his skills at the park!
George loves the water…even in the bathtub!
Vixen is getting along great and learning from her older, wiser foster sibling. She’s following her all over and giving her best play stance trying to get her to romp with her. She’s proven to be house trained and is working on her basic commands, but is still learning how to meet new people as she’s especially shy. She’s already bonding to her foster mom and we think she will be a wonderful companion dog.
George is GSP through and through. He’s young, fast, smart and cuddly. He’s looking for an athlete or active family who can help channel his energy with running or hiking on a daily basis. He’s a looker, so watch out he will steal our heart.
Yes, Miss Roxie has the wisdom to know what’s important in life. Comfy couches, massages and patience for just the right family. She’s a gem of a companion and will make an wonderful family dog. This is her having just finished her dinner getting ready to watch a movie with her foster mom.
Miss Lorelei is finally getting the care she needs. As you can see she is really responding to her care and receiving the TLC she deserves. She’s doing well with her rehab training and is looking healthier and happier.
Sprig is doing great and now posing nicely for photo shoots and learning to help out while his family “works from home”. He’s having a hard time being productive and just wants to cuddle instead of work though, he’s a true velcro dog.
George is ready to go on a date with you! He loves car rides and promises not to be a backseat driver (that’s because he wants to ride shotgun). He’s ready to go!
Sprig escaped the shelter and has found himself comfy and cozy in his foster home. It only took a short time and he’s instantly adapted to the life of luxury.
On this warm sunny California December day, Lorelei is catching some Vitamin D and wants to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
Lorelei is resting comfortably after her surgery! She had her old right rear leg fracture repaired, and will be recuperating for a number of weeks. Once her sutures are out, she’ll begin rehab therapy for the leg.
