Cody may have no eyes, but he’s all GSP in every other way! At 11 years old, he loves to go out in the world and sniff all the smells and run around in places without obstacles. Cody knows “watch out” and slow” to help him navigate. He’s great on leash and only needs a mile or two walk. After that he’s happy to hang out and relax for hours. Cody needs a home without other dogs at this point in his life. He’s lived with other dogs for the past few years, but because he cannot see and interpret “doggy language”, they’re not the agreeable pack they used to be. A home without small children would also be best since Cody can’t see what they’re up to! Cody finds great security in being with his people and would love it if his new family was home most of the time.
Cody is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, crate trained, and house trained. He went blind as an adult dog and his eyes were removed because of glaucoma. Blind dogs get around amazingly well and can do most of the things sighted dogs do. Please contact Zack at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about Cody.
Rehoming fee: $50. Cody will come with a crate, dog bed and other accoutrements.
You do not need to fill out our adoption questionnaire since Cody is not in our foster program and you will be working directly with the owner.
