Burt is in urgent need of a foster home in Northern California!
Burt is a handsome 8-year-old male GSP who ended up at the shelter. Shelter staff have described him as gentle and affectionate. He’s good with dogs, and we’ll need your help to learn more about him. If you can foster Burt, transportation to your home will be provided.

As of 2/19/26, Burt is still at Fresno Animal Center in Fresno, CA as he awaits a foster home. You are welcome to adopt him directly from the shelter. Please call to confirm that he is still there.
