Coupe

Cute Coupe was found as a stray and taken to the shelter – the finder noted that he was friendly with people, dogs, and cats.

Now that Coupe is in foster care, he is learning to enjoy the routine and regular meals! He’s putting on weight and is basically just a big puppy. Coupe is very affectionate and eager to please. He’s smart, learns quickly, already knows basic obedience cues like sit and come, and can catch a treat in his mouth!

Coupe will benefit from a stable environment with people who are home a lot/work from home (especially in the first months) where he can learn that the world is safe and to ease his fear of being alone. He is not a fan of car rides or being crated and is working on those, as well as loose leash walking. Coupe would enjoy a similar energy canine buddy to play with, along with a fenced yard – he can jump high! And he loves to cuddle with dogs and people.

Overall, Coupe is one of those nice dogs that needs consistency and love to bloom fully.

**5/24/2023 Update: Recently, Coupe injured himself and has a partial ligament tear on his left hind leg. Therefore, he is currently on Medical Hold as we work on rehabilitating him**
