Esuda

E-Suda.  It means, “My Six”; the one who has my back. Meet Esuda.
Our vet who met Esuda recently called it correctly.  He said that Esuda will know his new owner the minute they meet; that Esuda is the type of dog that wants to become strongly bonded with one person.  He’ll definitely do well in a family; even with children.  However, he hopes to be the only dog in the family, so that he can bond and be confident in his place in the household.
At five years old, Esuda is young, bright, and energetic, but his age and experience have mellowed him just enough.  Esuda is generally low-key and he just wants to be part of his new family.  He likes to hang out at home, so hopefully, you’ll live in an interesting place.  The middle of a squirrel sanctuary will be just fine, thank you very much.  He loves going out for a morning jaunt (walk or run, and your coffee can wait) and then he’s good.  He doesn’t care to go to dog parks and he doesn’t need a bunch of yappy dog friends.  Home with his family, keeping watch over the property, and his life is full.  Esuda is quiet and settled when in his kennel but he can also be trusted to roam free in or out of the house when his people are away.  He has learned quickly who needs to be barked at (like the lawn guy with that loud blower on his back) and who is OK (the next-door neighbor who has a garden along the property line).  Esuda is cautious but curious, and a good communicator.  He hopes to find a human companion that will be patient and communicative as well.  Then he’ll have your back.

Esuda was recently diagnosed with low thyroid function. It will take a few more weeks to know the full diagnosis, but as of now, he will need twice daily medication. His current Rx costs $13 per month.

If you’re that special person he’s been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
