Meet Gilbert, a handsome 5-year-old male English Pointer weighing in at 52 lbs! Gilbert is a sweet boy who will steal your heart with his charm and affectionate personality.

Gilbert is an active dog who loves to explore the world around him, and he enjoys going for walks, playing fetch, and spending time outdoors. He’s always up for a good adventure and loves to be part of the action. Despite his playful nature, Gilbert also knows how to relax and can often be found snuggled up on the couch with his favorite humans. He loves to be petted and enjoys spending quality time with his family.

Additional info: A volunteer had this to add: Gilbert is a super sweet dog who has good eye contact and knows some commands, ie. sit, down. He is underweight, but with possible worming and a good quality diet, he will thrive. His shelter posting had him listed as an English Pointer but in person he appears to be a GSP. A Facebook fan who met him reported that: He’s a great dog! Loves the ball, and a distinguished old man!
