Manny

Manny is a hoot! Just look at that face! He’s got so many good qualities – affectionate, listens well, happy, smart, generally calm, retrieves to the hand, and is good with kids and female dogs. He’s house-trained and crate trained and enjoys sleeping in the human bed at night. Is there a downside? He needs slow introductions to other dogs (several days) until he is comfortable, and he can use more work on leash manners.

Manny enjoys having a doggie door and a yard so he can spend hours chasing birds and squirrels (and whatever else you’ve got) and playing with water sprays. His favorite things are chasing water, watching birds, sleeping at your side, and barking at dog noises on the TV. Manny already knows sit, come, down, off, no and is working on stay.

What sort of home would he like? Manny would be good with other dogs for company, or as an only dog with stay-at-home humans. He likes room to run, he’ll play as much as you want and is content to sleep hours in the middle of the day.  He’s ready to join your home!
