Theo

Sweet Theo has had a lot of disruption in his life the past two years – the death of an owner, being boarded or left with sitters, a move, and being alone more. So what he’d really like is a stable environment with a person or family that just wants to dote on him!

At 12 years of age, Theo is in great health with only the occasional limp when he overdoes it. He loves walks, watching things in the yard, going for car rides, running off-leash, playing in the snow, basking in the sun or on the couch, and carrying a stuffie around. He’d enjoy a dog buddy if you’ve got one – he likes to play with dogs his size. He’s fine with dog-savvy cats – shows interest but backs off if they hiss – and ignores little dogs. Theo is available to families with children of any age – he is friendly with children but not overly interested in them.

Good news! Theo is now available for adoption to homes in the western US and Canada! Interested parties outside Northern California need to be willing to drive to the foster home’s location for an in-person meeting prior to or in conjunction with pick up. Please note that we do not ship dogs.
