Petite, two-year old Portia came into rescue a bit confused and anxious, but she still wanted to chase butterflies and dragonflies and receive pats from everyone she met. She had a limp that turned out to be a pelvic fracture, so had to be kept quiet in her foster home until she healed. She was a bit bratty with the other dogs at home, but with some training sessions and spaying, she became a better citizen. Once she settled down, her foster mom fell in love with her sweetness, loyalty and playfulness. She renamed her Maddie, and adopted her. Thank you, Mary, for your patient fostering and for adopting Maddie.
