Rookie is a loving young male GSP who loves playing tug of war, getting lots of pets, and learning new things. When we first rescued him he came down with Parvo, but we quickly got him help and he’s recovered and doing well!
At just over a year old, this sweet guy still has tons of energy and loves attention. Though he’s not fully house trained, he’s comfortable in his crate and is a quick learner and working on his house manners. He’s learning better manners every day (like “Sit” and “Off”) and loves to please the people around him. Rookie currently gets along well with other dogs in his home, but still needs slow introductions to other dogs; once he knows another canine is a friend and not a foe he’s a happy guy around other dogs. He would do well in an active household with people who are at home often. If this sounds like you, Rookie would love to meet you!
