Those who have followed Rally‘s story will know that he has been a challenging boy to place. During his time in rescue, we’ve helped him with severe separation anxiety, some old hip and leg injuries, and a bit of a fugitive instinct. Thanks to our volunteers this time around (especially Anne), Rally learned to be a mellow guy. He finally found a home where he seems to fit perfectly, and is loved and appreciated as much as he deserves! He is the only pet on the rural property, so will have the full attention and devotion of his just-retired doting parents. Adopted February 2017 […]
Max is a super awesome purebred and papered 2 year old GSP, and he’s the perfect eligible bachelor for your family! He’s a fantastic family dog – gets along with everyone he meets, and would be OK with a dog savvy cat (one that doesn’t run) as he currently lives with a cat. Max’s only flaw is that he is not interested in birds and has not been trainable for hunting; sometimes he does get car sick too. He’s house trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Max has not spent much time in a house however he […]
Clark was adopted from our rescue in 2008 at the age of 9. While most would think of him as a senior dog that just needed a place to retire for his golden years, Clark was eager to prove everyone wrong. For 8+ years, he lived a happy, well-loved life and showed up plenty of younger dogs with his boundless energy. Clark is proof that all dogs deserve a second chance, especially those with a little extra gray around their muzzle. Please consider donating in memory of Clark so that other GSPs can have the same chance he did. […]
Gunnar showed up at a shelter as a stray just before Christmas. It was evident from his ribs that he’d been on the road for some time. His foster Mom (thanks, Kiara!) found him eager to scavenge and counter-surf, but he soon learned that he would get regular meals and lots of treats. His four older GSP foster siblings helped teach him house manners and curb his puppy-like enthusiasm for pranks. He learned to chill out and snuggle with the pack. Gunnar found his forever home quickly, with a family that lives not too far away and knows GSPs. Gunnar’s […]
Young Bunny is loving life these days, she’s hitting the snow with her foster family and showing them how to climb those hills! She’s full of energy and is fast learning how to be a perfect family dog.
Beau is estimated to be an 8 year old GSP. He was adopted from a local shelter a few years ago. Unfortunately his family’s circumstances have changed and his single working Mom cannot give him the attention he needs. Beau is a beautiful black and white GSP and although might be around 8, he acts a LOT younger. He is very healthy, strong and has many adventurous years ahead of him! He is a smart, happy, loving, active 78 lb boy. Beau has been house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and knows his basic commands – although […]
