Recently Oscar gave his foster mom a few “pointers” on car repair as she took on the task of replacing a light on her car. Apparently he knows his way around a tool belt but prefers to play supervisor instead of being hands on. Go figure.
Nigel is enjoying the status of having his “flying wings” after his famous flight with Pilots and Paws. Now he’s just relaxing and enjoying the good life at his foster home.
It’s all fun and games until a critter ends up dead. Busy Lucy was helping out by hunting and guarding the vineyard from critters- and she did an excellent job!
Oscar can’t catch a break. When he got the news that he tested positive for heart worm, he protested! No more bed rest! But even this can’t keep this cutie down, he’s still full of smiles and cuddles!
Zoey went on a two day adventure last week but she’s safe and sound now in her foster home. She was aided in her return by a loving family who found her in the middle of the night. We are so happy she is safe!
Shelby is getting adjusted to her new foster home this week and she’s enjoying this beautiful spring weather in the garden.
Miss Jade landed in a fantastic foster home and never looked back! She found herself an active couple in the wine country to spoil her rotten and take her on lots of outdoor adventures. Good work Jade! Thank you to Carol and Mike for fostering Jade until she found her forever home.
She is doing a great job at learning how to “settle”. She’s a busy little GSP so it’s not easy to learn to play nicely with her ball without getting to excited! She’s getting ready for her next phase of Heartworm treatment.
His leg surgery went well…only a few weeks left on bed rest, he’s doing his best!
Lady is doing great in her foster home. She’s become a regular beach babe!
Good old Britches ended up in the shelter when his family surrendered him. We rescued him and gave him a bit of a tune up in foster care. Fortunately for Britches, a member of his former family who didn’t know he’d been taken to the shelter came forward and wanted to take care of Britches for the rest of his life. Enjoy the rest of your time Britches, someone you know loves you very much. Thank you to Ron and Dr. Jyl for fostering Britches and helping him get healthy!
Juliette became a quick rescue favorite with her adorable GSP smile and her friendliness to all critters big and small. Juliette’s new family has had several GSPs through the years and we think Miss Juliette’s going to get some much deserved spoiling! Thank you to Catherine and Mac for fostering Juliette and to Vicki for working with the adopters!
