Because of this young dog’s activity level, her foster mom (Thanks, Kim!) soon gave her the nickname “Energizer Bunny.” Bunny turned out to be a real cuddle bug, loving to snuggle with humans and dogs alike. With her long legs and model good looks, she attracted a lot of attention from potential adopters, but we took our time finding just the right home for this special gal. Of all things, Bunny met her forever family while visiting a Home Depot, where they fell in love instantly. I wonder if it was near the battery display…
It’s hard to believe this young, sweet and playful lovebug of a girl somehow ended up as a stray at a shelter. She was welcomed into one of our foster homes right away (thanks Denise and Jackson!). It didn’t take long for a perfect family to meet Marina and fall in love with her. Her forever home is a GSP paradise–with parents who are home almost all the time and lots of fenced acreage to roam. Adopted April 2017
Ajax (now Scout) has found his forever home with a doting mom and a sweet 13 year old German Shepherd sister. Thank you to Robin for fostering and thanks Melissa for failing at fostering and falling in love with this happy, rambunctious boy. Mischievous Scout is never happier than when he has mom’s full attention, after sneaking his entire body onto her lap and getting her to put the darn book down. The photo shows him helping mom pick up her drive-through coffee. Adopted April 2017
This sweet girl loves all kinds of toys and loves to play and run! She’s having a ball with her three GSP siblings!
Nothing better than just hanging out on the couch thinking about where your tennis ball is hidden.
Every good hunter knows that sometimes you need to go to extra lengths to find critters. Samantha demonstrates she is up to the task.
Bunny thinks its a great idea for the horses to get groomed.
James and his pal are starting the Easter egg hunt early this year.
Sunny came to us a bit scared and shy but she’s certainly coming out of her shell! Not only is she going to dog parks, but this weekend she ran a 5k! Who says senior dogs aren’t energetic?
