We love Addie so much and think about her every day. We love her personality, her silly antics, she was truly the best dog ever. She even got along well with Stan our cat after ~a year. She loved running around Bernal Heights and Fort Funston. We took her with us on so many adventures — Tahoe in the wintertime, Mendocino when Albert and I got engaged, and road trips to LA to see my sister and my niece & nephew. We miss her every day. -Imee and Albert
Reagan is as handsome as he is sweet. This 4-year old liver roan color guy got lucky, spending time in two great foster homes–first with one GSP sibling, and next with two other GSPs to show him the ropes. He quickly teamed up with his canine brother to hunt bees, and agreed to let his canine sister act like Queen of the Pack all she wanted. He got along well with everyone and soon revealed his ardent love for swimming, hikes, and cuddling. Then he demonstrated his master dock diving skills, flying beautifully over 16 feet through the air, before […]
Teagan came to us as a stray, and we knew immediately that this cute and spunky one-year old gal deserved a better life than one at the shelter. She was initially fearful of new situations, but soon she settled into foster care (thank you Scott and Peter, and then Carol and Mike for fostering Teagan). She emerged as a sweet, goofy girl who loves to play with other dogs and cuddle with humans. Teagan found a great forever home where she will get lots of walks and attention, and even a canine sister to play with. The family has changed her […]
For 12 years she enriched our lives with her boundless energy and unconditional love. Although she was 50% GSP, she cared deeply about birds of all kinds— and adored people as all pit bulls do. Tragically, her older “brother”, Boz, passed 5 days after Jax. We are heartbroken.I hope that they are running together on a beach filled with birds and dog treats. -Marie and Amy
Turbo’s foster mom describes him as “stunningly handsome and a complete clown.” This silly young guy loved to play with anyone who would entertain his goofy advancements. His new family plans to spoil him with car rides, runs along a river, kayaking, and a premium spot on their king sized bed! Thanks Catherine and Mac for fostering Turbo2.
Miss Lady is adopted! Lady showed up as an owner-surrender, sweet and well mannered. She bonded immediately with her foster family (human and canine, young and old—thank you Lisa for fostering Lady). She enthusiastically shared toys, balls, affection, and snuggles. She found joy in simply lounging on a dog bed, or playing with her own shadow in the sun, or being petted. Lady is going to a forever home where an entire extended family can’t wait to give her the Princess treatment she deserves.
Petra is adopted! Petra’s forever mom must be a bit of a soft touch. She first became a “foster failure” when she was taking care of Rally. Then she decided to foster Petra, who looks so much like Rally, they could be siblings–and now they are going to be! Petra’s sweet nature, good manners and funny pranks caused another foster failure. Thanks, Mary, for fostering Petra, and for giving her a permanent home where she and Rally can continue to romp and nap together. Oh—and they are going to change her name to “Minnie,” because she looks and acts like […]
Our sweet Charm has crossed over the rainbow bridge. She had lymphoma and had gotten to the point where she could barely eat and her breathing was getting more difficult. We are very, very sad but are also grateful for the gift of her presence in our lives. I think Charm has been the perfect dog. Sweet. Loves everyone and everything. Fun. Always ready for an adventure. We will miss her immensely. -The James Family
