Wallace and Rubicon

Wallace Wally has that sweet powder face that immediately makes your heart melt! He came to us as a stray and unfortunately he tested positive for heartworm. This meant he had to go through a treatment protocol involving 4 to 5 months of medications, injections, and restricted activity—challenging for any GSP. Wally handled it all with patience. He was content as long as he could cuddle with somebody. Lucky for him, several GSP-experienced foster people cared for him. George

George came to NorCal GSP Rescue after his previous owner asked for us to find him a good home. After receiving needed shots and treatments, he landed in a safe foster home. It didn’t take long for a foster to fall in love with George—the sweetest boy who is a fantastic cuddler, always makes sure to do a perimeter check for anything that moves, and hops for walks, food and car rides. Delilah

Eight year old Delilah is a sweet little girl who enjoys car rides, chasing critters, taking dips in the creek, playing ball and eating pears—and she excels at sniffing out squirrels. Delilah gets along well with other dogs, and adores spending quality time with her people. She is going to a forever home with a big yard, a mom who teaches at a university, and her retired dad–who has experience with hunting dogs and can’t wait to have a canine pal during his days at home. Braun

Young Braun (now Augie) had the best thanksgiving ever! He came out of the shelter and into a home that welcomed him with open arms. He settled in very well, and responded when they started calling him Augie. His active foster folks took him on many adventures. At first he was not at all sure about snow, but he got new boots and a jacket, and now loves accompanying his parents on ski outings.
