Suzy (now Lucy) is a lovely 9-year-old female who arrived at the shelter as a stray—sweet, calm and gentle. She required extensive veterinary attention, from medications to surgeries and tooth extraction. Suzy was a trooper through all of it, patiently healing while politely seeking affection from the people around her. She has a soulful way of looking in your eyes as if to thank you when you scratch her ears. She is going to a safe and loving forever home where she will get all the attention and snuggling she deserves. Her mom is a Grateful Dead fan and names her pets after their songs, so Suzy is now Lucy. Thank you, Phil, and Brenda and Steve, for fostering this sweet girl.
