Young Dougie was a wreck when he entered the shelter. He would cower in his kennel and eat nothing (even chicken!) until the staff trying to help him left. Poor fellow! With persistent care and pampering, Dougie’s foster home was able to coax him out of his shell. He learned how to get along with their dogs and annoy their cats. He’s still working on his trust of people, though we’re confident his fondness for cuddling will get him there with time and patience. Thank you, Christi & Kelly and Carla & Ed, for fostering Dougie. And thank you, Jennifer and Jack, for adopting Dougie and providing him with a loving home and a couple of canine siblings.
