Three-year-old Ruger’s owner had to move, and the dog was left behind. A neighbor took him in but couldn’t keep him because he was fond of chasing livestock. Our fosters found him to be easygoing, affectionate, and eager to learn. He caught the eye of a couple who’d lost their family dog to old age. They were ready to welcome Ruger (now Morty) into their pack and commit to his training and exercise regime, away from livestock. Thank you, Priscilla and Phil (and Elise and Phillip) for fostering Ruger. And thank you, Ali and Kent, for adopting him.
