Eight-year-old Heidi entered the shelter in heat before she was spayed. Staff noted she was very friendly and great with other dogs. Once she was in foster care, we could attend to her medical issues, including a cloudy eye that turned out to be blind. Heidi is a petite “Pocket Pointer” weighing only around 30 pounds, but very strong and prey driven. She’s quite the huntress, but a fun companion, as well.
