Is there anything more heartbreaking than a young GSP with heartworm? It’s easily preventable with a monthly pill, but when a dog tests positive it means injections, followed by months of medication and severely restricted activity. Despite this unfortunate obstacle, Frodo managed to be loving and cooperative through his treatment period and stole hearts along the way. He will only get happier as his restrictions are eased. Thank you, Jade and Curtice, for fostering this goofy guy. And thank you, Marthell, for fostering and adopting Frodo (now Ziggy).
