One-year-old Riggs came into rescue with a severely infected toe on his right forepaw. The best course of treatment was to remove it. While he was recovering, he had to be kept quiet, which is hard for a young GSP. But Riggs used his time well to master basic commands, figure out puzzles, and learn some leash manners. Once his paw healed, he did not let one less toe slow him down a bit. Now he seems happy all the time, with his tail constantly wagging. Thanks, RaeLyn & Ron, and Morgan, for fostering Riggs.
