Nelo is in urgent need of a foster home in Northern California!

Nelo is a handsome and friendly GSP who has just had surgery to remove an injured eye. We want to get him into a foster home quickly so he can get the supervision and meds he needs in a less stressful environment. His post-surgery care is quite minimal.

He is available for adoption from the shelter, but given his situation, it’s less likely he’ll be adopted from there. He’s good with other dogs and … well, he’s had surgery, gets antibiotics, and is wearing a cone. More than that, we do not know.

Can you take him in and help him through these first weeks post-surgery? We’d like to know more about him so we can find him his best forever home – and you get the first option to adopt him! Transportation to your Northern California home will be provided.
