Remington is a sweet 9-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who found himself needing a new home after his owner entered hospice care. Healthy, friendly with people, and good with other dogs, Remington had spent his life as part of a family and even shared his home with a Doberman and a Miniature Pinscher. NorCal GSP Rescue stepped in to give this senior gentleman the fresh start he deserved, and Liz and Derek welcomed him into their foster home. With their care and support, Remington settled in beautifully and was able to enjoy the comfort and companionship he needed while waiting for his next chapter. We are thrilled that Remington has now found his forever home with Steve. After everything changed so unexpectedly for him, it’s especially wonderful to know that Remington is once again someone’s beloved companion.
