Briar spent most of his four years chained in a backyard and neglected until a good-hearted neighbor persuaded the owners to relinquish him. As the neighbor tried to find him a new home, Briar was attacked by another dog and ended up in quarantine at a dog shelter because there were no records to indicate he’d ever had any shots. We took him in, and after months of care and patient guidance, this guy is now vying for the title of Most Spoiled GSP Ever. Thank you to his village of foster helpers: Sheri and Randy, LaVonne and Frank, and Anne and Brad. And thank you, Diane and Brian, for adopting him. Diane and Brian lead active lives, so Briar will be spending his days on runs, hikes, and town walks when he’s not snoozing on a cushy dog bed surrounded by toys and love.
