Buddy was 9 years old when we had the good fortune to adopt him. He was so full of life and enthusiasm, always raring to go. He loved to run but never wanted to get far away from us. At home, he ran everywhere, from garage to the house, around the yard, from kitchen to living room, from living room to bedroom.
The only time he would walk was on leash. Watching him run in an open field was pure joy. His enthusiasm was contagious.
Buddy loved going everywhere with us, especially our trip to the redwoods. Most of all, he was always excited to get home & let us know by barking & jumping.
Buddy started having seizures 2 years after joining us and he did well on medications for the next 10 months. His health declined rapidly in the course of the next two weeks after he had 3 seizures within 2 days. At which time, we had to make the difficult decision to have Buddy leave us. We are extremely happy for the 3 years we had with him.
