Belle

Meet Belle—a bright, affectionate young German Shorthaired Pointer who is ready to find an active, loving home where she can truly shine.

Location: Crows Landing, CA (Central Valley)
Contact: Heather at hmcrow5@gmail.com
Rehoming Fee: $500, will be donated to NorCal GSP Rescue

At just 7 months old (born 8/13/25) and around 48 pounds, Belle is everything people love about the breed: smart, energetic, people-oriented, and full of life. She’s a happy, social girl who absolutely adores being part of the action and thrives on human connection.

Belle is especially wonderful with children. She has grown up playing with two young boys and lights up whenever she sees kids—whether at home or in puppy class. If your home includes children who would love a playful, affectionate companion, Belle will fit right in. She also loves meeting new people and is always the first to greet visitors with a wagging tail and a friendly attitude.

This sweet girl already has a great foundation. She’s house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has been learning her basic cues in puppy training, including sit, stay, down, and heel. She’s eager to please and enjoys learning—she just needs someone with the time and consistency to continue guiding her as she matures.

Belle is healthy and full of potential, with a fun-loving personality and a striking look, including a beautiful chocolate marking on her side. She does have a partially cut ear and a few scars from before she came to her current home, but they only add to her unique character and don’t slow her down one bit.

Like many young GSPs, Belle has a high energy level and needs regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to be her best self. She loves to play, run, and interact with her people. When her needs aren’t fully met, she can get a little creative—like barking for attention, digging, or chewing—so a home that can provide daily activity, structure, and engagement will help her thrive.

Belle has done well with other dogs she knows, though her experience with new dogs is somewhat limited, so slow, positive introductions will be helpful. She has not been around cats. She is not crate trained yet but does sleep indoors at night and enjoys being close to her people.

Currently, Belle spends long days outside while her family is at work, and it’s clear she would be much happier in a home where she can be more included in daily life. She is a true companion dog at heart and wants to be part of a family that has the time and energy to meet her needs.

Belle’s ideal home would be active and engaged—perhaps with a yard, regular walks or runs, and people who enjoy including their dog in adventures. She would do wonderfully with a family who understands the needs of a young, energetic sporting breed and is excited to continue her training and development.

Her current family cares deeply about her and wants to find the right fit—a home where Belle will get the time, exercise, and attention she deserves.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion who will reward your time and effort with endless affection and enthusiasm, Belle may be your perfect match.

Belle is ready to bring joy, energy, and love into her forever home—could that be yours?
