Harley

Meet Harley – A Loving Pup Ready for His Forever Home!

Harley is a sweet and eager-to-please young pup looking for a loving and structured home where he can truly thrive! Rescued from a neglectful situation, he’s already making great strides in his temporary home, but he needs a dedicated adopter who can continue his journey toward stability and confidence.

At under two years old, Harley is still full of puppy energy and enthusiasm. He currently weighs about 52 pounds and is neutered and microchipped. He has received recent vaccinations and has no known medical issues.

Harley’s Personality & Training

Harley is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention. He loves being by your side, whether it’s for a walk, a play session, or just relaxing at home. Because of his past, he’s still learning how to be independent and needs an adopter who can provide patience, structure, and positive reinforcement to build his confidence.

He is house-trained, crate-trained (though still adjusting to longer periods alone), and knows basic cues. He walks well on leash, does get excited when he sees other dogs and may bark or whine. With consistent training, he’ll continue to improve!

Good With People & Other Animals

  • Children: Harley was raised around kids and is friendly with them. He would likely do well in a family environment.

  • Dogs: He is curious and generally friendly with other dogs. His previous owner confirmed he gets along well with both male and female dogs.

  • Cats & Small Animals: Unfortunately, Harley has a strong prey drive and is not suited for a home with cats or small pets.

Harley’s Ideal Home

Harley is an adventurous boy who will need a secure yard and an adopter willing to continue working on his training. He has shown some escape tendencies, such as jumping onto objects to get over fences, so a home with a tall, secure fence is ideal. He’ll benefit from a stable routine to help him feel more secure.

What Harley Needs From His Future Family

  • A patient and experienced adopter who can provide structure and positive reinforcement training.

  • A home without small animals (cats, rabbits, etc.).

  • A secure yard with supervision while outside.

  • Continued crate training and confidence-building to help him feel comfortable being alone.

  • A loving, stable environment where he can finally relax and just be a dog.

Harley is a wonderful dog who needs the right person to help him blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion who will reward your patience with endless love, Harley may be the perfect match!
