Guero (now Guy) came into rescue around seven years old, skinny and scabbed, but with a foundation of good manners. As his foster home nursed him back to health, they discovered he was polite, eager to please, and played very nicely with his GSP sister, Lyla (adopted through our site). There was some concern about his hearing, because sometimes he would not respond to calls–yet he never failed to hear the crinkling of a candy wrapper. Counter fruits had a way of disappearing in his presence, but he would claim innocence and lay his head in a lap for hours. His favorite pastimes are chasing critters, playing fetch, going for walks, getting treats, and lying in the sun on the back deck. Thank you, George and Suzanne, for fostering and adopting this happy Guy.
