It’s impossible to talk about Louise without mentioning her sidekick, Thelma. They’re sisters with a very special bond. Louise is the fearless one; but she is also blind. She depended on Thelma to guide her around furniture and through the doggie door. When Thelma died of cancer, Louise was lost, missing her helper and lifelong companion. Her foster home decided to adopt her, so she would not have to deal with more changes. She is content to be in a home she knows well, where she gets along fine with the resident dogs and cats, and where she wags her tail at the mere mention of her name. Thank you, Mark and Cari, for fostering both Thelma and Louise, and for providing Louise with a permanent home.
