We said goodbye to Ludlow this week after 7 years of love, adventures, learning, some tough times, and fun together. She arrived heartworm positive, unsure, reactive and transformed into the sweetest companion who went with me everywhere…road trips, beaches, hotels, work, restaurants, wineries, and across the country and back. She loved rolling around in everything from grass to couches, food, her nose in the wind, gross smelly things, her best friends, her second family, her dog walker, helping small children with their extra food, throwing the ball for herself, our walks, amateur scentwork, sunbathing and most of all, being with me. I’m so grateful for our too short time together and will miss her more than I can imagine.
