Norman is a lucky dude! His foster mom manages a vet clinic, and first encountered pointers last summer when a very ill litter arrived and she was asked to help with two of the pups (and yes she ended up keeping one!). When Norman arrived in rescue in April and went to her clinic for his intake check up and neuter, he had kennel cough so had to stay in their isolation ward for nearly two weeks. She saw this handsome guy staring out at her with huge brown eyes and he stole her heart. He was so tall he didn’t fit into the cages so he got the entire ward to himself! His favorite thing to do was stand and look out the window into the back of the hospital. She applied to foster and as soon as he was well she took him home. The entire family including the cats gave him a warm welcome. It was obvious pretty quickly that he’d found his forever home! Thank you to Carrie for fostering (and adopting), and to Cheryl for case managing. Now Norman loves to lounge on the couch or hang out on the window seat when he’s not busy chasing his little pointer sister around the yard.
