From a timid, unsure pup to a confident and cherished companion, Ringo’s journey is truly heartwarming. When he first entered rescue, Ringo was fearful of new people and needed time, patience, and understanding to feel safe in the world around him. With the help of dedicated caregivers and a thoughtful behavior plan, he began to build trust, gain confidence, and show his sweet, playful personality—especially his love of fetch and quiet companionship. Everything changed when Lynne and Jon welcomed him into their home, giving him the calm, structured environment he needed to truly thrive. Today, Ringo is off his medications, relaxed, and happily bonded with his new family—especially his “dad,” Jon, with whom he’s inseparable. Fun fact: when Ringo doesn’t get his way, he jokingly threatens to “call Barb and Robin” on his humans! Way to go, Ringo!
