Gunnar showed up at a shelter as a stray just before Christmas. It was evident from his ribs that he’d been on the road for some time. His foster Mom (thanks, Kiara!) found him eager to scavenge and counter-surf, but he soon learned that he would get regular meals and lots of treats. His four older GSP foster siblings helped teach him house manners and curb his puppy-like enthusiasm for pranks. He learned to chill out and snuggle with the pack. Gunnar found his forever home quickly, with a family that lives not too far away and knows GSPs. Gunnar’s new suburban home includes an active family, and a young GSP sister to romp with, too.
