Wallace
Wally has that sweet powder face that immediately makes your heart melt! He came to us as a stray and unfortunately he tested positive for heartworm. This meant he had to go through a treatment protocol involving 4 to 5 months of medications, injections, and restricted activity—challenging for any GSP. Wally handled it all with patience. He was content as long as he could cuddle with somebody. Lucky for him, several GSP-experienced foster people cared for him. When he went to his last foster home, he met another of our rescue dogs, Rubicon. He and Rubi got along so well together that the foster home decided to keep both dogs forever. Thank you, Sally, Dalia & Darren, and Liz & Andrea, for fostering Wally; and thanks so much Barbara & Keith, for fostering and adopting him
Rubicon
Rubi was one of eight Super Snow Moon dogs we rescued earlier this year. She was young and super smart, but had never had much training or guidance to channel her energy in positive ways. After trying out several foster homes, she landed up in a home where she settled down and then learned to play very well with her senior canine brother Wallace. Thank you, Kate and Danny and Anne, for fostering Rubi, and thank you Barbara & Keith for adopting both Rubi and Wally.
