WILLY is adopted!
Willy was surrendered at the ripe age of 12.5 years. His senior owner had become unable to care for Willy the way he deserved. We found Willy to be pretty frisky for an old guy. He could pull on his leash with the best of them, chase after squirrels, and pursue the ladies, as well. He was not done with living, not by a long shot. Lucky for Willy, we found him a couple of good temporary foster care situations (thank you Stephanie and Patty), and then someone who’s been active in our rescue group for many years stepped up to adopt Willy. He’s now in a forever home where he can go to work with his new dad, and go hunting and hiking on weekends, too.
