Wilson came to us as a 6 yr old foster the week of 4th July 2020. He had no training, we do not think he had ever been in a house before! He was underweight, heartworm positive and not neutered. We had a rollercoaster 6 months with him. Teaching him his name, his manners and how to be calm around people. He learned a lot from his older sister Zinny. We successfully treated the heartworm and then he went through his neuter surgery which had some complications. He became our Christmas gift and foster failure. He was such a handsome happy boy who everyone loved. The highlight of his day was his long walk with Steve closely followed by snoozing in the office all afternoon with Lesley as she worked. The highlight of his week was “pre washing” the meat roasting tin before it went in to the dishwasher. Sadly he suddenly became ill and within 3 weeks we found he had an inoperable tumor in his colon. We are heartbroken but so happy to have had him in our life 💔
