We were lucky enough to adopt Xena (formerly “Jo”) in 2014 from a wonderful foster family who let us take our time and slowly get to know her, including our 5-year-old vizsla, Zeus. She joined our family of four and fit right in. She and Zeus were best pals and grew up adventuring alongside their human siblings. She loved to hike and explore almost as much as she liked to snuggle on the couch. Xena lost her sight over the years, but compensated in amazing ways and got around just fine. She was an amazing companion and the sweetest girl. We lost her brother Zeus 9 months ago and so we know they are reunited over the rainbow bridge chasing squirrels and lizards together.
