Charlee was picked up as a stray when she was found roaming around Susanville chasing chickens. Animal Control called the phone number embroidered on her collar many times, but no one ever replied to the messages. Thank you Cari and Mark for fostering Charlee, incorporating her into your family of four dogs and three cats, and throwing innumerable tennis balls for her. When not obsessing with birds, squirrels, or balls, Charlee was content and easygoing. Her patience in waiting for the right forever family paid off.
She is going to play helper for a stay-at-home Mom, as she shuttles the kids to and from school and does errands. She’ll be a fishing buddy for her new dad, and she’ll have three kids to pitch plenty of balls for her. There will be weekend hiking and camping trips, and lots of evenings to cuddle on the sofa.
