Deno is a Gentle Giant. This big guy came into rescue with kennel cough, but his cough worsened and turned into pneumonia. He became very ill and almost didn’t make it, but his foster home (thank you Bill and Cheryl) gave him lots of loving care. Once he recovered, he remembered how much he loved to run in vineyards and chase lizards. When the Napa fires occurred, Deno was evacuated along with his foster family. He took it all in stride. He was adopted by one of our long-time volunteers, who realized what a really nice fellow he was when she drove him to a vet appointment.
