Mary (now Ludlow) showed up as a stray, and tested heartworm positive at the shelter. Sherry stepped up to foster and saw this GSP mix through the treatments and long rest period required. At first, Mary was scared, and she didn’t know how to jump into a car or onto a couch. Now she does all that, even jumps on the bed, and she has become a champion snuggler. Once Mary recovered, Sherry decided to offer her a permanent home and name her Ludlow. In her new life, Ludlow gets to run and play with other dogs at the park, go to work with mom, and amuse herself with kongs stuffed full of treats.
