Princess Leia’s galaxy exploded when the human who’d raised her since puppyhood suddenly had to go into assisted living and could not take her along for a final adventure. No family or friend could step up, either, so the princess ended up in a shelter. That is no place for a sweet elderly GSP, so we got her into a cozy foster home, where they fell in love with her in no time. Who could resist her adorable face, grateful kisses, and laid back “cool” attitude? They call her Maya now, but she’ll still be treated like royalty, enjoying walks, hikes, car rides, and lots of cuddles and loving. Thank you, Tina and Gilbert, for fostering and adopting Maya.
