Rolf (now Otis) was confused and frightened when he first came into our care–unsure of everyone and everything. He was wary, but our experienced fosters knew how to win him over (thanks Doug & Janelle, Patty, and Joan & Dan). Soon he was cuddling and asking for belly rubs and treats. He learned to love stuffed toys and would get very goofy and happy carrying and flipping them around. He became attached to his blanket and would try to carry it around everywhere, including outside. He loved learning new tricks, especially if treats were involved. Rolf was adopted by a young man who recently moved into a cabin all his own with a big fenced yard. He couldn’t wait to have a dog in his home again, and now those two are off on their life adventure together.
