Ernesto – passed away August 15, 2014

Ernesto came to us (his third family at least) as a foster named Dougal. The small guy had Arthritis and could barely stand, was nearly blind, effectively deaf and had other medical issues, but always followed like a duckling when someone headed to the kitchen. Appetite wasn’t ever a problem. Dougal

Dougal is a loyal and gentle old guy who found himself returned to rescue after his owner suddenly passed away. His foster family felt a connection with this fellow and his touching story. They could not bear the thought of him having to search for another home and decided to adopt him and make him part of the family. Dougal could not have wished for a more caring and attentive home.
