Skippyjon (now Woodstock)

Skippyjon (now Woodstock) is adopted! Skippy showed up as a stray at a very full shelter, a terrified one-year old with ringworm. His foster family took care of the treatments he needed and realized right away what a lovebug he is. He was sweet and affectionate, and proved to be a great hiking companion. Is it any wonder they fell in love and decided to make him a permanent member of the household? Woodstock will get all the hiking and cuddling he can handle from his new family, which includes two teenaged boys to play with. Thank you, Anna and […]

Kasper

Kasper is adopted! Kasper was surrendered by his owners because he kept breaking out of his crate and escaping from the yard. He is a big, handsome, goofy guy who apparently felt he was not getting enough activity time. And he is strong—he even scaled a 10’ high wall in a doggie hotel! Walter

Walter is adopted! Sweet powder-faced Walter found his forever home in record time! His new owners are previous adopters who adopted alum Mikey (aka Dyson) in 2014. They were heartbroken when Mikey died at the end of last year. One look at Walter’s photo on our website, and they knew they had found their next wonderful GSP to love. Walter is now set for lots of walks on the ocean, car rides, cuddles, […]

Legend (now Tinker)

Legend (now Tinker) is adopted! Legend decided to leave home when she was about six years old. She showed up at a shelter as a stray, a mere 38-pound wisp of a GSP. Her foster homes (thank you Jan & Barbara) found her to be a perfect Pocket Pointer—a bundle of energy who liked every single dog and person she met. She’d fall asleep with her head in your lap after the excitement subsided, but she could also surprise you by appearing magically in your bed, or on top of a coffee table to get a better view of her […]
