Hansel stood out from the beginning as being quite handsome—and amazingly mellow for a two year old GSP. Maybe it was the heartworm that slowed him down. He soon found a loving foster home with humans who had lost their beloved GSP a few months earlier, and a nest that had just become empty as their son went off to college. The house was too quiet–good timing and a perfect setup a foster failure! They knew from the beginning that sweet Hansel would be a keeper, because he was such a good boy and got along with everyone he met. Thank you Tracy and Johnny for fostering Hansel, and caring for him through his heartworm treatment, and for providing him with a permanent home.
