    Clark was adopted from our rescue in 2008 at the age of 9. While most would think of him as a senior dog that just needed a place to retire for his golden years, Clark was eager to prove everyone wrong. For 8+ years, he lived a happy, well-loved life and showed up plenty of younger dogs with his boundless energy. Clark is proof that all dogs deserve a second chance, especially those with a little extra gray around their muzzle. Gunnar

Gunnar showed up at a shelter as a stray just before Christmas. It was evident from his ribs that he’d been on the road for some time. His foster Mom (thanks, Kiara!) found him eager to scavenge and counter-surf, but he soon learned that he would get regular meals and lots of treats. His four older GSP foster siblings helped teach him house manners and curb his puppy-like enthusiasm for pranks. He learned to chill out and snuggle with the pack. Finnigan

Finnigan took his time looking for a perfect forever home. Why should he be in a rush, when he had fabulous foster parents (thanks Cari and Mark!) and a couple of canine foster siblings? He impressed his foster family with his calm demeanor, mastery of basic commands, excellent recall, and ability to get along with everyone (including kids, and even cats!).
